Entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship pillar focuses on strengthening small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs by providing practical knowledge, strategic guidance, and access to resources. We support individuals in starting, growing, and sustaining enterprises that create jobs, promote economic independence, and contribute to resilient local economies.

Our approach combines skill-building with mentorship and real-world insights, helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable, long-term ventures.

Building Bridges for Global Entrepreneurship

Our Entrepreneurship Pillar took an exciting first step as Indira, Sonia, and Sheila had the opportunity to meet with the Ambassador of Guyana and his team to explore the country's growing business landscape, investment potential, and infrastructure opportunities.

For Indira, the meeting was especially meaningful as she had the chance to reconnect with people from her hometown, making the experience both professionally rewarding and personally memorable.

This engagement marks a promising beginning in strengthening the GEF Pillar for Entrepreneurship, fostering international collaboration, creating new opportunities, and building meaningful partnerships that empower entrepreneurs across borders.

Here's to many more conversations, collaborations, and impactful initiatives ahead!
